Shopping cheap protein at Trader Joe's -- Milk and Chicken

As previously mentioned, Trader Joe's is not the best place to shop on an extremely limited budget, but since the topic has come up, here are some of the better deals you can get on a couple of high protein staples.

A half gallon of milk (hormone-free if that's important to you) is $1.99 and contains approximately 70 g of protein. (Our target is 50 g a day).

You can get a somewhat better deal if you buy a gallon.

In the meat and poultry section, the best bargain is drumsticks. $1.49 a pound with 22 g of protein per 4 oz serving. Better yet, you don't have to buy massive "value packs" to get this price.

  1. To understand what protein is the best I have analyzed the whole range of sports nutrition protein on the market and have tried to make an objective rating of proteins, which includes all the main canons. You can find it in https://www.biceps-shop.com/what-protein-is-the-best/ . The most important thing for the protein mixture is the content and quality of the protein. It is due to the protein content of high biological value, this supplement helps to achieve the desired results.
